Volunteer - School Athletics
Build relationships with students through coaching or assisting with after-school sports. Jubilee REACH sports include middle school soccer, basketball, flag football, cross country, golf, and elementary school soccer.
Elementary School Season: Oct. 1 - Nov. 10
Middle School Season: Sept. 21 - Nov. 6
*Middle School Cross Country will run Sept. 17 - Oct. 30

A Jubilee REACH Coach is POSITIVE, INCLUSIVE, & COMMITTED.
Jubilee REACH Athletics & Activities seek to provide a space of belonging for all students. Your role as a servant leader is to model respect for all, prioritize character development over winning, and have fun!
Site Coaches will always handle season communication and disciplinary action.

Focus calls on teaching moments and safety
As a Cross Country Meet Day Volunteer, you will…
Help set up and/or tear down weekly middle school Cross Country meets, or
Line the course and support students with safety and encouragement, or
Contribute to a smooth meet flow by being a timer or chute monitor
As an Assistant Coach or Parent Helper, you will…
Lead groups or drills as you feel comfortable
Support the Head Coach in maintaining order
Encourage all players, especially those on the margins
As a Basketball Scorekeeper, you will…
Operate the scoreboard and/or manually update foul tracker
Communicate with the refs to ensure correct score, time, and fouls
Be an unbiased encourager to both teams
Locations and Times
Jubilee REACH Athletics & Activities at the middle school level take place during school-designated “Activity Time,” following the end of the school day and the tutorial period. These practice times are locked. Practice times for elementary schools are similarly scheduled and locked.
