Jubilee REACH offers English language classes for adults whose first native language is not English. In order to find employment, build relationships, thrive in a community, and help a child in school or communicate with a child’s teacher, a parent needs to be able to understand and speak English. Relational, experienced teachers provide interactive instruction and guidance in speaking, reading, and writing English. Both students’ and teachers’ lives are changed as relationships are formed and a common language is learned.

Different levels of English classes are offered per session— Level 0. Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4 and Talk Time.

An ESL Bible Study is offered on Thursday mornings for those students who want to challenge their English skills while learning about the Bible.

Also an additional Talk Time is offered Wednesday mornings that focuses on the book Purpose Driven Life.

If you are interested in the ESL Bible Study or the additional Talk Time, please ask about the two additional classes when you sign up.

Registration Process:
1. Register online.
2. After you register, students who are qualified will be notified to take a placement test.
3. Come to Jubilee REACH Center for your placement test either Tuesday September 18th or Thursday September 20th from 9:30am to 11:30am. If you cannot attend either days for placement test, please email us.
4. After placement test, students will be notified to start their ESL class.

If students are not notified, it can be safely assumed that they are on waiting list. The timing of when student register will not guarantee your placement into a class.

Creating an account for registration is required.

a. Any students who cannot commit to 9 month classes will be put on waiting list unless there are room. All classes have a limited class size.

b. Talk Time Classes are limited to max. 18 people and can accommodate students who need flexible schedules.

c. Any students who has been absent for more than 3 classes will be removed from classes and students on waiting list will be given the opportunity to enter class, unless notification to teacher/ ESL leadership of absence. If students are absent for more than 3 times, please make a note and we will make arrangement for a new student to join your class. If the student is only missing 1 class, it does not mean a new student could be added.

d. Any students who will be absent for vacation for more than 2 weeks will need to notify the teacher and/or ESL program leaders. If longer than 2 weeks, their spot will be given to a student who can commit to the class and will be put on waiting list. If failed to notify the teacher, students will be removed from class due to more than 3 absences.
