Jubilee REACH Associate Site Coach
Role and Responsibilities
Serving as an interdependent intermediary, the Associate Site Coach works with their Site Coach(es) to ensure that every child is known, loved, affirmed, and feels they belong. The Associate Site Coach successfully supports and executes various relationship-building activities, sports, and services, while assisting Jubilee staff and volunteers and helping to coordinate all faith-based and partner organizations serving at the school.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older
Pass Federal fingerprint and State (WSP) background check and reference check
Minimum HS diploma or GED equivalent
Possesses a heart to serve and to love those most difficult to love
Skills Required:
Strength of presence, patience, and perseverance
Social/emotional intelligence and the desire to serve humbly and compassionately
Ability to build relationships with students, parents, staff, administration, and volunteers
Ability to work openly and responsibly with the school’s principal
Core values of trustworthiness and integrity of character
Excellence in follow-through and follow-up on details
Ability to “go to” and manage conflict well
Commitment to uphold, embody and enforce BSD, school, and Jubilee rules and values
Areas of Responsibility and Quality Execution
Check-in with designated school staff regularly
Work alongside the Jubilee REACH Site Coach(es) guided by their direction and leadership
Support daily activities, invest time in classes, and be present in halls as requested by school staff
Support before, during, and after school activities, sports, and services along with Site Coach(es)
Support and serve all onsite JR staff and volunteers
Attend weekly Site Coach training, meetings, and periodic meetings with school Principals along with site coach(es)
